genblogger.com is free blog service, You even earn part of their earning from topbanner ads, that’s what they say, but I have about 2000 alltime clicks and no sale so it’s bullshit

Good is that You can easily edit left + right panel. Other plus is that You can hotlink pics uploaded there.
I need to rehost it. Now I have 2 new hosts + domains, but I can’t use it to host pics, cause it would end like hentaier.com that the site will be suspended (there’s too many visitors here
But I might use it for lower downtime and more options with wordpress blog script.
If You want free hosting, best way is to get freehostia.com, You’ll get 5GB/month bandwidth, 250MB storage, 1x 10MB MySQL, 50000 files limit, 2 subdomains under one account. And absolutely no ads, they earn money for overpriced paid hosting
But there are few problems, You can host only files up to some 2-3MB (so people won’t abuse this free service) and You don’t have http://www.subdomain.freehostia.com but only http://subdomain.freehostia.com

Hey hentaifan… why free site like this can stay online? well. the admin paid alot of money for free? paid for webhosting and paid for Rebirth posting? this may be a stupid question but i really want to know. The admin had done only for dedication to us?

To Ichiru: But there is problem, my site has maximum 4000 uniques a day. This blog service can’t have domain so it can’t get traffictrades with hentai toplists (domain/paid hosting is needed with most), blog services have very limited options.
Yes, he could use wordpress script hosted on wordpress, but there’s big chance site would be suspended for inappropriate content as happens when You got site hosted on wordpress.com or blogspot.com
And there are plenty more problems, You got 50 Megs storage on wordpress.com so gals posted directly at UH.com like rebirth has posted them couldn’t happen.
And wordpress will surely suspend the site for high bandwidth usage & CPU load. Why? Cause it cost hell lot of money when site has 20000 visitors a day and each has 5 pageloads(refresh, etc). There is some paid option on wordpress.com but it’s still low profile for a site like this.
This way it’s better.
And back to link trade problem, if this site won’t have them, nobody would know it. With site linked in many sites, You get pagerank that affects Your position at google, so bad position=no visitors.
Why would You make site for 50 people a day, when You can deliver content to 20000.
Admin probably started this site as pure phun, but when traffic grew, it costs more & more, I’m sure admin has requested upgrade for server to take care of that traffic load + prepaid more bandwidth several times when site was growing.
If You want popular site with tons of happy people here, You need great content, that’s what people are searching for. And when You got great content, You’ll make less sales with affiliate programs (sponsors), cause people won’t pay 30$ a month to get content of similar quality that this page delivers.
This makes it less earning and compating to costs this site might earn very few money or none.
And to: Paid Rebirth, after creating this site, there was sure some momnet in admins life that affects it so much (family, kids, new harder job etc.) so he needed someone reliable he knows to continue posting. I personally disagree with idea to pay her but it’s the option admin picked (maybe in hurry due to life changes) else the site will be discontinued.
I need to tell, many webmasters create sites to generate income. But with hentai niche, this is our fetish and who starts this kind of site loves the content. And then this might be dedication to us.
I’m sure admin will make more money (in short period atleast - 6-12 months) selling this domain or left it as “parked”. But he didn’t do this. Good domain name can be sold for few thousand $ and site with well known domain and thousands of returning visitors have much higher value. So I’m very happy he does this for community not $$$.

eh, just did a little research, Freehostia bans pornagraphic accounts.
I found a host for the site I’m working on (which I’ll call H-Collective, because any member can login and upload content), but 110mb.com does not allow for PHP based ftp scripts.
Oh well.

Fun Fact: Designing a fully dynamic website equiped with hentai datbase and member content submision pages takes a really long time. I’ve spent over 10 hours already working on the database design, and I still have a ways to go.
